French Press

I knew there had to be an alternative!

Article HERE

"For two months in the summer of 1993, in an effort to revitalize struggling market sales, Macy's briefly offered an "English Press" as an alternative to the french press. The sole difference in the two was the use of two rods entering the plunger section instead of one. Advertisements included posters with a variety of anti French phrases such as "The less snooty way to make coffee," "I eat an English muffin for breakfast. Who eats a baguette?" and "The greatest assistance the English have given the French since World War II." The offensive marketing for the product was believed to help contribute to their declining sales in the early 90's. "

Update: It appears someone that we know, and who shall remain nameless, has undermined our undermining efforts and has re-edited the French Press article back to normal. Rest assured, repeated treachery will result in severe retaliation and/ or tickling. You've been warned!
